Betfair are probably currently best known for their sports book however they have launched a bingo channel to fall in line with other bookmakers. Like their big name competitors they’ve opted to use the familiar Virtue Fusion platform which gives players an excellent selection of games, slots and instants.
First impressions of Betfair Bigno are good, the channel is bright and cheerful with featured bingo and slots on the front page. The introductory offer is pretty attractive too, deposit and spend £5 on bingo games and Betfair Bingo will give you £15 to spend on bingo and £10 for their side games. Wagering terms of x4 for bingo and x25 for games apply.
As a Virtue Fusion brand you’ll find a number of exciting rooms and variations of bingo at Betfair. These include specialist rooms such as Bouncy Balls, Cash Cubes and Rainbow Riches. You’ll also find Deal Or No Deal alongside Who Wants To Be A Millionaire as well as traditional 75 and 90 ball games.
Access is via desktop, mobile and tablet plus you can play Betfair Bingo on apps for iPhone and Android phones. Game prices range from pennies upwards and there’s a huge selection of daily jackpots, BingoLinx and regular network jackpots.
Like all Virtue Fusion bingo sites there are plenty of slots to enjoy including Big Top Tombola, Fluffy Favourites, Double Juicy, Chests Of Plenty, Wild Gambler, Rich Treats and Dynamite Digger. To access more slots you’ll need to look at Betfair’s other channels such as Arcade, Casino and Vegas. Occasionally you may see a slots promotion running for bingo players.
Other promos do tend to be network dominated, but there’s a VIP programme, loyalty scheme and even a quiz night that we think is exclusive to Betfair Bingo. Compared to other Virtue Fusion brands, Betfair perhaps isn’t as active as say William Hill, Ladbrokes or Bet365! No social media coverage, at least not via it’s own channel, doesn’t help either.
Overall Betfair is a good trusted brand and their choice of software, Playtech/Virtue Fusion, is great too. That said, William Hill, Betfred and Paddy Power have all had revamps in recent months (Feb 2018) – we think that Betfair Bingo should be next in line. Betfair do have decent welcome package in place for new bingo players, but we’d like them to do a tad more after that to stay abreast of their rivals.
