Whilst most bookmakers have been running their own bingo brands for sometime, Coral are pretty late to the party. The reason for this was there entwined relationship with Gala but now the two brands have become separate entities the two can go about their business – and that means a new Coral Bingo site!

Coral Bingo

Using the Virtue Fusion platform, the same as Gala Bingo, Coral offers a 500% welcome bonus to new players. To get the £25 bonus you need to register, deposit and spend £5. Your reward is a bonus that is split with £15 as a bingo bonus and £10 as an all games bonus. Wagering terms apply. New players can also access a free newbies room for 7 days. Just register and then head to the Farley & Carly Room daily between midday and 2pm and again at 6pm to 8pm. There are also free games in the Allsorts Room between midday and 8pm (terms apply).

Coronation Street Bingo

It’s safe to say that what you’ll find at Coral is pretty much the same as what you’ll find at Gala – at least games wise. Coral’s bingo rooms include Coronation Street Bingo, Emmerdale Bingo, Big Banker Bingo, Rainbow Riches Bingo, Coconut Island, The Value Room and – one of our favourites – the Penny Room! For mobile and tablet players there’s also a Bingo Lotto room which is exclusive to those devices.

As with other sites there are slots and mini games and Coral do like to do a few promotions surrounding these. In fact the Virtue Fusion Network does tend to like their slot tournaments and big money giveaways. Anyway, amongst the games are Chickeno, Big Top Tombola, Cleopatra’s Chest, Bar-X, Bouncy Balls and Jungle Madness. Your Coral Bingo login also means you have access to casino, poker, sports and lotto channels on the site.

It’s A Bingoal

Coral isn’t just a poorer version of Gala – and it does have it’s own exclusives. For example, every Saturday they offer free games in their Bingoal room. This is 90 minutes of games starting from around 5pm until 6.30pm. All players are welcome and the room is expected to stay open during the football season. If you like playing side games then look out for a bonus offer that also runs during the same period.

Another benefit is the Coral Loyalty Club. Every time you play you earn points and then you can convert these, once you have enough of them, for extra play. At the basic level you need to spend £100 on bingo to get enough points to convert into a bonus – and that bonus is worth £1 of bingo. It’s not a lot but better than other reward programmes (e.g. get a prize wheel spin after wagering £500 at Moon).

Coral Or Gala?

When Coral Bingo first launched we it seemed to be on the site “because other sportsbook sites have bingo” and it wasn’t as good as we’d hoped. However, in the last 12 months or so Coral have upped their game and have started running their own promotions and giving bingo a bigger platform. We like the Bingoal Room plus it’s great to see regular prize promos taking place too. Our only criticism is that the site can often be very slow.

If we had to choose one site over the other then we’d probably head to Gala. However when compared to other bookies sites then Coral stacks up well against the likes of Paddy Power, Sky, Ladbrokes, William Hill etc. The decent welcome bonus plus free bingo package make it worth a look.
