We all love a bit of free bingo and thankfully there’s still plenty of it around. One particular set of games that have survived over the years are Superbooks. These are games that you’ll find at Virtue Fusion brands such as Sun Bingo, Ladbrokes Bingo and Paddy Power. We’ve mentioned Superbooks a few times in despatches but what exactly are these games? We decided to bring back our Ask Penny series and hopefully answer those all important questions. So what exactly is a Superbook game?
All About Superbooks
Superbook Bingo Games are essentially free to play games. You simply login to a participating site, select your tickets and can play for free. However, you can opt to purchase tickets for the same games. The price tends to be 5p to 10p but the prize money dramatically increases. You still play the same round as the free players – everyone’s in the mix together – but the winner’s prize is determined whether they’ve got a free ticket or paid for ticket. There’s no advantage to making a purchase by the way as every ticket has the same chance of winning.
To understand things a little bit better let’s look at two players: Adam and Eve. Both decide to play Superbooks but Adam chooses the free option. This means he has the chance to win (for example taken from a recent Sun Bingo round) £20 for one line, £30 for two lines and £50 for the full house. However Eve decides to pay for her tickets. This means she will be playing the same round as Adam but it’s £200 for one line, £300 for two lines and £500 for the full house.
Trade Up Bingo
At time of writing Sun Bingo are hosting Superbook sessions every Tuesday and Thursday between 8pm and 10pm. During these hours you can play eight games. Terms do apply and these include that you must enter the Superbooks Room 10 minutes before the session begins. Every free or Trade Up! game can be played free of charge or you can upgrade your free tickets to Superbooks tickets prior to the start of the game. Once you have purchased Superbooks tickets you cannot downgrade the tickets for that game back to free bingo tickets.
That last term is very important. If you decide to purchase tickets then you can’t then claim free tickets. You’ll need to wait until the next round. Should you choose to play Superbooks? Our advice is to decide how you’re feeling at the time. You have nothing to lose by playing for free and that’s the coolest thing about these particular games.
