Whilst many bingo sites are happy with the standard 75 ball and 90 ball games, the folks over at Gala are always innovating. Over the years they’ve brought us Coronation Street Bingo, Coconut Island, The Chase Bingo and Big Banker Bingo. Joining this exclusive set of games is the brand new Cashpot Bingo.
What Is Cashpot Bingo
So what is Cashpot Bingo? Well, Cashpot Bingo is another variant on the traditional 90 ball game. This means that there are the usual one line, two lines and full house prizes. But, in addition, players have the chance to win a Cashpot style jackpot and play a bespoke Cashpot Wheel post-game feature.
The Cashpot Wheel comes into play for the full house winner only! The wheel spins for the chance to win additional cash and bonus prizes. If the jackpot triggers this gives the full house winner £500. All others players in winning game collect a share of £500. A £500 jackpot is guaranteed each day and it can be won on any game.
Does Cashpot Improve 90 Ball Bingo?
Interestingly, Gala Bingo’s site suggest that Cashpot Bingo is only available until the end of May. Usually, we see new games launched with the aim for longevity. We wonder whether if Cashpot is therefore under a trial period. Do players want a new variant of bingo at Gala? We love the idea of new games, but do question whether this variant adds anything new to the mix.
That said, it’s difficult to envision how the 90 ball game can change beyond what we already have. If you consider most variants then they are either branded 90 ball games (e.g. BGT Bingo, Coronation Street Bingo) and/or have an “extra” appended as an end game. You can play around with call numbers (e.g. Pulse at Tombola and Coconut Island) but these can be hit and miss.
Terms & Conditions: 18+. If the jackpot is triggered, then the FH winner will win £500 and £500 Community Jackpot will be shared with all players in that game. A player must have at least one bingo ticket in the game in which the jackpot is triggered. Ticket prices range between 1p and 20p. Jackpot Winnings paid as cash. T&Cs apply.
