Go Back To School With Fever Bingo
The 15 Network hasn’t exactly been pulling up trees with bingo players lately. A number of brands have closed, including our own Clucky Bingo. On top of that there’s been plenty of changes across other sites. This includes reducing the monthly Pay Day Jackpot game down to just £1000 and dropping other games. They also now only seem to have one active daily room – Lucky Stars – although there is also free bingo for depositors.
Back To School Promos
Very few bingo networks and brands have opted to go for the ‘Back To School’ theme this year. We suspect that may well be due to UKGC concerns. However, the 15 Network have decided to go with it for their first big promo in months. Hopefully it will help re-invigorate old players and perhaps give newbies encouragement to take a look. The promo is currently at the end of the second week and comprises offers that run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays every week.
To find out what’s on offer players need to login and go to the ‘Back To School’ section. Then it’s simply a case of clicking on the current date to see what’s on offer. The problem is that when we click on a date (for example 13th September) then the background blurs and no offer shows up. Thankfully we’ve been able to figure things out. For example on the 13th September you can earn a Loot Chest by funding your account.
Loot Chest Bonus
The Loot Chest bonus is something new for the 15 Network and is along the lines of the Mega Wheel, except you get to open a chest. Unfortunately for bingo players all the offers are slots related and therefore come with a x65 wagering term. It’s not a great way to entice players in to play bingo! On every Wednesday of this Back To School promotion you’ll be invited to a Happy Hour – that’s the same Happy Hour that runs every week anyway.
Finally, the Monday offers give players bonus spins on every deposit. These include spins for the Monday and additional spins for the Tuesday. Again wagering terms apply and again the offers are slots related. These offers are ideal for slots players who like such deals, but for bingo players there’s absolutely nothing – we think this is an opportunity missed!
New Sites & Relaunches
Whilst bingo seems to be becoming an endangered species on the 15 Network, it’s not all bad news. Whilst a number of brands have closed, new sites have been launched. These include Barbados Bingo, Bingzino, Stargaze Bingo and Bite Size Bingo. These new additions have been joined by revamped older brands such as Spice, Charming, Rocket, Fever and Bingo Clubhouse. The thing is though that all these brands pretty much scream “bingo” and yet that key element is the poor relation when compared to slots.
This wouldn’t be an issue, but Jumpman also hosts the Wheel Of Slots Network (which looks to be becoming defunct) and Jumpman Slots Network. The latter offers the same as 15 Network but all the brands are more slots orientated. It makes sense for slots players to head to those sites rather than those that should be more bingo themed. Overall, it’s good to see a promotion back on the 15 Network but in terms of bingo maybe it’s time to really go back to school.
