The Mojo Room is the latest new addition to PlayOJO Bingo. In a week when Betvictor launched their own bingo channel using the increasingly popular Pragmatic Play platform, that’s also used by PlayOJO, it’s nice to see some more unique features added on at least one site. The Mojo Room takes OJO’s quota of exclusives up to three as it joins The Equalizer – an even stevens room – and The Masked Singer Bingo room. But should you be racing off to try this new room?
About The Mojo Room
The Mojo Room opens daily from midday to 10pm and offers players access to a range of free, penny and feature games. These include £150 of Free Bingo every day; 1TG games with consolation prizes for tickets with 1 number remaining when the full house is called; and Roll-On games where Extra Full House prizes are paid out after the full house is called because extra numbers are called. The room is only accessible to players who have previously made real money wagers at the site. There’s plenty here to like including 1p games but OJO’s other rooms need more players (at time of writing The Masked Singer was hosting just 6 players). The free games should help the new room but we do think there should be more player interest in this brand by now.
Betvictor Bingo Opens It’s Doors
As mentioned above Betvictor Bingo has finally launched. Whilst other UK bookies have had bingo channels for years, Victor has only just gotten round to adding the popular numbers game. They’ve opted to join the Pragmatic Play stable which includes OJO, Lottoland Mirror Bingo, Crown Bingo and Rosy Bingo. The beauty of the Pragmatic Play set-up is that it can be easily integrated into a brand but the games and management is done by Pragmatic Play. Betvictor are hoping to encourage new players to join with a £30 bonus plus free spins offer. This offer also has a reasonable wagering term plus there’s a newbie room that offers free bingo for five days after completing a first wager.
Having A Bingo Blast
Like all the aforementioned sites, Betvictor gives players access to 30, 75, 80 and 90 ball bingo rooms. When we dropped in there were 8 featured rooms plus the newbies room. You’ll need to guess which room offers what because Betvictor have opted not to make it obvious from their bingo home section. Amongst the rooms is Bingo Blast, Pragmatic Play’s speedy 90 ball game. Which Bingo recently described the game as “iconic” which we can’t comprehend. Whilst it is an interesting twist on the traditional game it’s not in the same league as the likes of Deal Or No Deal Bingo. The consistent lack of players (<10 at time of writing) perhaps indicates that players are less inclined to think of it as iconic?
New Welcome Offer At Buzz Bingo
One of the PlayOJO’s strengths is that it love fair play and has no wagering terms. Other brands such as Bgo.com have also explored the no wagering terms route but for whatever reasons have turned away from it. Joining Bgo.com in making such a change is Buzz Bingo who since launch had always offered new players a no wagering term welcome offer. However they’ve found from research that customers prefer bigger bonuses over worries about wagering terms and therefore have made changes – see below for the latest offer. Disappointingly the free newbie room has also been cancelled but there is free bingo daily – although we suspect these may just be superbooks games.
Mix Up Your Bingo
It’s good to see PlayOJO adding more exclusives to it’s roster and it’s fair to say that at the moment they’re head and shoulders above other Pragmatic Play powered bingo brands. Other than the welcome offer there’s little to get excited about at Betvictor Bingo. You might as well head to OJO and have better wagering terms (i.e. none) and more choice! However we do now wonder whether OJO’s no wagering strength is an achilles heel based on Buzz’s recent change. We like Buzz Bingo a lot and aren’t too concerned about the change in welcome offer. The loss of the newbie room and the lack of daily free game are a bit more annoying but so far we can live with those decisions. Sites hosting Pragmatic Play bingo in our view will need to do a lot lot more to attract players away from the likes of Buzz. Let us know what you think.
