You might have noticed that Penny Bingo has been relatively quiet over the last few months. We’ve been working hard on other projects and saldy penny had to take a back seat. We’re now back to get the site back up to date, add new sites for you to try and keep you up to date with the latest bingo news. Our aim is to put together regular round-ups on what’s going on with online and offline bingo. The latest six months have been a strange one for the entire world, but life goes on when it comes to bingo. Over the last six months we’ve seen new launches, site closures, revamps, sites changing platform and a number of new games. These new games include Bingo Blast, Trio, Paper, Bingo Millions Turbo and The Bingo Ball. We’ll be taking a closer look at some of these games in the coming weeks.
Jumpman Launches Pragmatic Play Bingo
Bingo Blast was launched by Pragmatic Play. They’re more well known as a slots provider but during 2019 launched a bingo product on Nektan brands. Earlier this year this product has since replaced the old rooms across The Jumpman Network and also on the Crown Bingo group of sites. This means these sites all have the same rooms and games. In theory this should mean more players and bigger jackpots. Whilst it’s good to see Jumpman finally ditch their pointless rooms – which never had any players – we don’t see much improvement in terms of promotions and offers to encourage players. They could take a leaf out of GVC’s book as they’re working hard to try encourage players to join their brands! A couple of years ago GVC purchased the Cozy Games Network. Since then they’ve improved the software, moved Foxy and Cheeky to the platform and closed down pretty much all the old Cozy sites. This year Coral Bingo and Ladbrokes Bingo have also been moved from Virtue Fusion to the GVC Network. Check them out as there’s some good free bingo offers appearing on all these brands.
New Bingo Sites
Virtue Fusion have also lost two other brands since the turn of the year. Bucky Bingo has relaunched on Dragonfish whilst Mirror Bingo surprisingly has moved to Jumpman. They’ve been joined by the relaunch of Star Wins and Express Wins, official sites for The Daily Star and The Daily Express respectively. It’ll be interesting to see how these sites fair on these platforms, especially as – on paper at least – it seems like a backward step for them all. Just before we took a little break we noticed that Say Yes To The Dress Bingo launched on Dragonfish. This was the official site for the popular wedding dress buying show that regularly appears on TLC. We say was as Say Yes To The Dress Bingo didn’t even last six months. In many ways we’re not surprised because there didn’t seem to be much link up between the two entities. 2020 though has seen other sites launch. These include Dinky Bingo, Tickety Bingo and Bingo All Stars – all have opted for the Dragonfish platform.
