Although Penny Bingo is a very basic website with few bells and whistles we still respect privacy. Any information that you provide us with, or that is gathered automatically helps us and third parties – such as Google Analytics – to monitor our service. If you have any concerns, questions or comments please contact us.
Registering With Penny Bingo
As a blog we do have a registration facility. However we don’t utilise and have no intention of utilising it. If you do decide to register then please note that it offers no additional benefits. We won’t use any data to contact you directly but you may receive notifications from the site in respect to activating accounts and passwords.
Third Party Sites
Our site works with third party sites such as Google who have a lovely line in webmaster tools. They will have their own terms and privacy conditions and you’re advised to check with them if you’re worried about them.
A posh way of saying email! We used to have a newsletter and email users every so often about bingo news. Unfortunately GDPR ruined that one. Our new one was even more shortlived because The UKGC and operators aren’t keen on affiliates emailing people either. So we don’t have an email list and we don’t send text messages. We won’t be sliding into your inboxes any time soon. Sorry!
We love cookies but only the sweet ones with chocolate. Other cookies aren’t of much interest to us. With some links out of Penny Bingo, namely affiliate links (see below), you may get third party cookies for other purposes such as registration tracking or for targeting advertisements to particular types of visitor. Other than that we don’t implement our own cookies unless you’ve registered – but then there’s no need to register as explained above. If you do register and login then a cookie is set so the site knows who you are.
We’d love to run Penny Bingo for the joy of sharing bingo news, but we have an expensive lifestyle to fund. To this extent use affiliate links to generate income for Penny Bingo. These links earn us commission based on sales or other user activity. In accordance with UK Gambling Commission Rules all links/adverts are marked with #AD. It’s a bit daft but it has to be done. In our view it is best to assume that every outward link on this site is an affiliate link.
Your name’s not down you’re not coming in! While we strive to keep the information that you supply directly or indirectly secure please be aware that the Internet is not a fully secure medium. We’d like to think Penny Bingo is secure and as we don’t hold anyone’s details then it shouldn’t pose any problems.
Usage Of Information
If requested we may submit your information to local or government authorities. However as we will only hold your information if you register you’re safe in the knowledge we won’t be grassing on you anytime soon.
