Angry Bingo launched back in 2014 and took the concept of angry birds and made them into angry bingo balls. Angry Birds was one of the biggest ever online games successes of all time. Who’d have thought that firing a series of annoyed birdies and some greedy pigs would have worked out as it did! And who would have thought that someone would “borrow” the idea to create a bingo brand!! Whilst this fun idea was good for it’s time unfortunately Mr UKGC felt it was a bit too child friendly and Angry Bingo is now angry bingo ball-less. However this Dragonfish powered brand from the Costa group (now 888) shouldn’t leave you angry if you should choose to visit.

Angry Bingo Review

Angry Bingo Welcome Offer

As of September 2021 new players to Angry Bingo are welcomed with a deposit bonus. Register, login and deposit a minimum of £10 to receive a 300% bonus (up to £200). In addition new players also collect 30 free spins on a selected slot. Wins from these spins attract no wagering terms as they're paid in cash. However the bingo bonus has wagering terms of x4 the deposit + bonus. These changes put Angry Bingo on par with Costa Bingo and pretty much ends it's chapter on no wagering terms on bingo bonuses.

No Deposit Free Bingo

A no deposit bingo room is available for new players. The Bingo Academy is open for 48 hours after registration at Angry Bingo. Free games play in this room every 20 minutes and give you the chance to win small prizes. These are £1, £2 or £5 for the 75 ball full house. All prizes are paid in bonuses so wagering terms will apply.

Angry Bingo Rooms

As well as free bingo, Angry Bingo offers a 75 ball, 75 ball 5 Line, 90 ball and 52 ball bingo. The latter is a card based version of bingo that uses playing cards instead of bingo numbers. A bit like Cinco that you can find at Tombola. There's also the aforementioned Bingo Academy as well as jackpot rooms. Penny Bingo fans should check out the promotions as this network of sites host 1p games every day from 2pm to midnight.

Angry Bingo Slots

Angry Bingo has the usual selection of Dragonfish slots which can be found via the lobby. Featured titles include Starburst, Pigasus, Shopping Spree, Irish Luck, Pay Of The Dead and Lost Island. You can find slots via Top Games, Daily Drop Jackpots, Jackpots, Megaways and Deal Or No Deal. Slingo games such as Reel King, Fluffy Favourites and Monopoly can also be found but you won't find table games or live casino. Unlike a lot of bingo brands Angry Bingo doesn't tend to run any slot promotions which may appeal to bingo players.

Angry Bingo Promotions

When Angry Bingo launched it offered players plenty of promotions including prize games and jackpots. However as time has ticked on and the group of sites sold to 888 it's fair to say that Angry Bingo has been left relatively unattended. There are still regular offers such as cashback and jackpots but these are limited. That said you can play for 7 x £1000 games that take place every Friday (5pm to 11pm) provided you're a qualifying depositor. There are also network free games including a £250 one every Sunday and one for £1000 every Monday.

Penny’s Thoughts On Angry Bingo

Angry Bingo without anything angry does seem a little bit odd and to be honest this site now feels at odds with the online bingo world. Unfortunately The UKGC dragged the humour and character out of online bingo and Angry is one of the brands that has really suffered. It’s cause hasn’t been helped by changing ownership and whilst 888 now keep the site ticking along we don’t think anything has changed that much in the last couple of years. There are new sites launching that are progressive and they are always going to fair better than old brands gathering dust in the background.

That said we do like the no wagering elements of Angry Bingo and the fact that whilst slots are available to play they’re not the focal point. Too many brands lean heavily on the slots and load up promotions accordingly. The no deposit free bingo room – The Bingo Academy – is a good reason to check out Angry Bingo plus there are enough interesting games and rooms too. We do like the penny games but would love to see a bit more love and care from the owners in order to boost the brand’s appeal. Overall Angry is OK but you might find more joy with 888 Ladies or Wink Bingo for example.
