When we first reviewed Butlers Bingo we wrote that “new bingo sites can often leave us feeling a little flat. More often than not they’re just the same old sites with new front doors. So sites like Butlers Bingo are a breath of fresh air. Hailing from the Broadway Gaming Group this site offers you bingo on a silver plate”. However, little did we know that Butlers would be pretty much serving up the same bingo dishes – with little variation – since that time.

Butlers Bingo Review

Butlers Bingo Welcome Offer

New players to Butler Bingo are welcomed with a generous £100 worth of spins on the Magic of Sahara slot. So if you sign up and deposit a tenner – then you get a lot of spins to enjoy.  Any wins from these spins will be paid as a bonus. As ever do make sure you check the terms and conditions regarding wagering and withdrawals. In this case wagering terms of x3 for bingo and x50 for games apply.

Butlers originally used the Microgaming platform, but as of October 2020 has moved to Pragmatic Play. The good news for players is that they still offer a mix of 75 ball and 90 ball bingo. The rooms available include The Broadway Room, Friendship, Sapphire, The Jackpot Room, Boombox, Bingo Blast, Spinner Room, Rainbow Room and 30 Ball Speed Bingo. Ticket prices cost from 1p up to around 25p. Some of these rooms are networked across other Pragmatic Play sites such as PlayOJO Bingo.

Butlers Bingo Promotions

Slots and casino games are a major part of the site and include games such as Mega Moolah, Lucky Leprechaun, Agent Jane Blonde, Thunderstruck II, Arena Of Gold, Dragon Shard, 9 Masks Of Fire and Deco Diamonds. Interestingly Butlers and it’s sister brands are some of the few bingo sites that don’t have Fluffy Favourites, Starburst and Rainbow Riches. Whilst there are a handful of table games like roulette and blackjack there are no live casino options.

Promotions under the old system were quite impressive. In recent times Butlers and it’s sister sites have given away cars, kitchens, shopping sprees and cash prizes. Now the bingo is with Pragmatic Play the offers are limited. It may well be because it’s early days but the only player promos are for Slot Sprints tournaments and a Rewards programme. Hopefully there will be additional jackpot bingo rooms as the new platform beds in.

Penny’s Verdict

The downside to Butlers Bingo was that the Microgaming platform wasn’t our favourite. The move to Pragmatic Play could be a positive step as it is a more extensive network and a more up and coming product. Whilst the promos are good and there are some nice feature games we would like to see a bit more variation each month. The active social channels, especially on Facebook, are a big plus. We are disappointed that the welcome offer is slots focussed and the wagering terms for that are quite high. It would be great to see a newbie room offering free bingo or some bonus tickets like new bingo players get on PlayOJO.
