Earlier this year Gala Leisure rebranded all their bingo clubs as Buzz Bingo. Over 100 clubs up and down The UK now carry this name and now you can enjoy ‘The Buzz’ online too. Buzz Bingo is probably the biggest name in online bingo for a number of years. They’ve opted to join the Playtech platform so that means a good selection of rooms, slots and jackpots for players. To enhance this offering they’ve also opted to be a “no wagering” brand. But can this new site create it’s own buzz? And are there games to excite fans of penny bingo?

Buzz Bingo Review

Free Bingo In The Newbie Room

New players joining Buzz Bingo are invited to enter their newbie room. Access is available for the first 7 days after registering. However the room is only open between midday – 2pm and 6pm – 8pm. All winnings are paid in cash but note that there is a £5 minimum withdrawal on winnings. If you decide you like Buzz to take a closer look then a £10 first deposit and spend generates a 300% bonus. This bonus is split £20 for online and £10 for Buzz Bingo Clubs. Any wins from the bonus are paid as cash.

In addition to the bonus mentioned above, a £10 first deposit and spend also gets you 10 spins on Jackpot Giant. The jackpot cannot be won on these spins but wins have no wagering terms. Other than Bgo.com there’s no other Playtech bingo brand that has a no wagering term policy. However, as a Playtech powered brand many of the bingo rooms and slots will be a lot more familiar.

Value Bingo Room

Bingo wise, Buzz has a decent selection of rooms. These include Rainbow Riches, Deal Or No Deal and Age Of The Gods. They’re joined by an 80 ball room, 75 ball and a couple of Buzz exclusives. There’s the newbie room, as mentioned above, Blast that is a 90 ball room exclusive to Buzz and a Value Bingo room that is also exclusive. Tickets in the value room start at just 1p so it’s perfect for penny bingo fans!

If you prefer slots then Buzz has a good selection including more exclusives. Popular titles include Rainbow Riches, King Kong Cash, Age Of The Gods, Balloonies, Clover Rollover, Fluffy Favourites and Golden Goddess. Buzz’s exclusives include The Wild Mob, Read All About It and the delightfully name Splatter Cake. The latter does remind us of the Cake Off game that’s exclusive at other bingo sites!

Jackpots & Promotions

Many of the jackpots and promotions on Buzz are shared by other sites. For example there’s a special jackpot night scheduled each month for the 75 ball, Rainbow Riches and Deal Or No Deal rooms. The last weekend of each month has a £500K of jackpot promo whilst there’s also a slot of the week. However, Buzz look like they will run their own exclusives! At time of writing they were hosting an “Everyone’s A Winner” promo in club and online. The in club prizes are actually better than online though as the top is a Fiat 500 Hatchback 1.2 Pop Star 3d.

Buzz has a very familiar feel to it but it also feels fresh and new. The site is inviting and we like the brand’s aim to be all about community. The no wagering aspect is a good choice in the current climate – and even better Buzz haven’t shirked away from offering bonuses. We also like the fact that they currently have a newbie room so new players can try things out.
