City Bingo is the third site from the same camp as Costa Bingo and Sing Bingo. Once again it’s based on a free to play for real cash offering, but with a city theme which changes each month. They used to have a cute feline mascot, but due to UKGC rules, City Cat has had to go into early retirement. Thankfully there’s still plenty of good things for bingo players to enjoy.
City Bingo Welcome Offer
New players can join the fun at City Bingo by trying their no deposit room. The Bingo Academy is open to new players for a couple of days. City did used to offer a no deposit bonus but this was dropped in January 2018. If you choose to go on and become a funded player then there’s 120 free bingo tickets – with no wagering applicable on any wins from these tickets. A second and third deposit bonus code is also available on the site.
Inside the City Bingo lobby you’ll find 75 ball and 90 ball rooms, freebie rooms in the ‘Freebie Kiosk’, Jackpots, VIP rooms and prize game rooms. In prize bingo terms, City Bingo is right up amongst the best of them. Every Wednesday you will find a City Souvenir game with 1p/2p tickets. Each game has a £50 prize pot. Players can also enjoy City Bingo on mobile without the need of an app. In addition there’s usually a big prize giveaway every month – for example holidays, TVs, vouchers. The cards for these games tend to be 10p.
City also invites players to Break the Bank! You can win bonus points or real cash prizes – to take part you just need to deposit every day in a 7 day period. It’s a nice way to reward regular players. Loyalty is also rewarded with points and these can be used in the “Diamond Club”. Diamonds can be used to buy tickets for big prize games or to convert into bonus cash. If you do have points then in our view using them on high price prize games is good value.
Every month you have the chance to win a share of 250,000 Diamonds by guessing the next featured destination. Diamonds are bonus points that all players collect whilst playing at City Bingo. The points can then be converted to bonuses. If all that wasn’t enough for you then there’s usually extra prizes and offers running every week – just drop into the promotions page for news. All bingo rooms and slots are accessible via mobile. No app is needed!
When we first wrote our review we suggested that “City Bingo was a great looking site, very colourful and well designed. It has potential to be a very good site provided it can differentiate itself from it’s sibling sites”. Although there isn’t that much different in comparison to it’s sister sites, City does hold it’s own when it comes to bonuses and prizes. The loss of it’s no deposit bonus is a disappointment as is the fact that it’s promos are now shared with other brands. However we still like the changing monthly theme plus the free bingo games.
