When the next chapter of Jurassic Park (Jurassic World) hit the movie screens it inspired bingo operators to launch dino themed brands. T-Rex Bingo stomped onto the scene whilst Dino Bingo was created by Ignite, using the DNA of Costa, Fancy, Sing and City. Dino joins the same network as Giant, Monkey, Rio etc. and frustratingly that means that it’s pretty much the same as all of them. This means free bingo, a selection of jackpots, a no wagering welcome bonus and a handful of player promotions.

Dino Bingo Review

Dino Bingo Welcome Bonus

New players to Dino can play for free and with no deposit – but only for 2 days in The Bingo Academy. This offer is coupled with 120 free bingo tickets on a first deposit of £10 or more. Register, login and deposit £10 to receive tickets for selected bingo rooms (Ticket To Ride, Just The Ticket, Golden Ticket and Choo Choo Ticket). These tickets will give you a taster of 75 ball and 90 ball games. Any wins from playing these tickets are paid as cash – no wagering terms apply.

Many observers thought that free bingo would be extinct by now, but it’s a core part of many sites including Dino and it’s sisters. All depositors have access to freebies with small jackpots on a regular basis. This includes the weekly Bedrock Bonanza – previously the Friday Freebie. Players must have deposited in the previous 6 days to access these games.

Dino Bingo Promotions & Slots

As well as free games you’ll find plenty of 75 ball, 5 line 75 ball and 90 ball bingo to enjoy at Dino. Tickets start from a penny and there are regular jackpot games including one main jackpot game per day at 9pm. These 9pm games have some cool names such as Free Spin Fossils, Rubble Riches, Caveman Capers and Brachio’s Banker. Jackpots range from loyalty points right up to pots of £3000. The latter, called Flintstone Fun plays every Saturday at 10pm and costs 50p a ticket.

Slot players are – as you’d expect and already know if you’ve played on other Dragonfish powered sites – catered for. We’d have liked Dino feature some dinosaur themed slots but Lost Island is probably the only one we could spot that would be on theme. Still that does mean you have loads of time for Fluffy Favourites, Starburst, Wheel Of Fortune, Slingo and many others.

Penny’s Thoughts On Dino Bingo

The main difference between Dino and it’s sister sites used to be it’s cartoon dinosaurs. Sadly, like the real thing, these have become extinct. Dino was hit by a meteor in the shape of The UKGC. This resulted in all the dinosaur characters being wiped out. In our view it killed off the character of the site. But does character make a good site? Well, Dino is a decent enough site to look at and has a good platform for it’s games. It’s a bit too “seen it all before” though and doesn’t seem to stand out from the crowd. However we do like the various free bingo rooms and the no wagering welcome offer is also attractive. We like the fact that there’s also reload bonuses and all depositors can play in the Raptor Reload room. Don’t expect to find any exclusives here though.
