Robin Hood Bingo was launched on the Dragonfish/Cassava platform as a sister site to Moon Bingo. It’s theme is taken from the famous Sherwood Forest legend and up until recently (November 2017) a cartoon version of the character featured on site. However, UKGC rules now dictate that such an image may appeal to children and so Robin leaves just his name behind as a legacy to this particular brand. Thankfully they’ve left the bingo alone. They claim that you play and they giveaway so let’s take a look to see what they offer.

Robin Hood Bingo Review

Welcome Offer

New players are welcomed to Robin Hood Bingo with a 400% bonus up to £100 and 50 bonus spins. The spins are awarded as a set of 10 every day for your first five days to play. These spins can be played on Kingdom of Cash, Fluffy Favourites, Enchanted Prince, Unicorn Bliss & Irish Luck. Wagering terms apply to both the bingo bonus and any wins accrued from the spins. See site for full details. If you prefer no deposit offers then Robin Hood does allow access to it’s free bingo room for the first 3 days after registration. However you’ll need to become a depositor to play in the free rooms after that date.

Login to the Robin Hood Bingo lobby and you’ll have access to 75 ball bingo – pattern games and 5 Lines – plus 90 ball bingo. The popular rooms include Moonalicious, Penny Express, Forest Fun, Linked & Loaded and Gimme More. Progressive jackpots and guaranteed jackpots are available too. In addition there’s Suit Up, 52 ball room that uses playing cards instead of bingo numbers. Think Tombola’s Cinco and you’re on the right lines. A new Bingo Roulette room has also recently been added.

Robin Hood Bingo Games

Also in the lobby is a promotions section which keeps you up to date with the latest offers at Robin Hood. This area is better than the one on the main website and often tells you about slot promos and other prizes to be won. The lobby area also gives you access to pre-buy games and a useful calendar so that you can see what big jackpot games are on the horizon. Joining the bingo at Robin Hood are over 300 different slots. These include 99 Time, Beat The Bobbies, Fluffy Too, Irish Luck, Rainbow Riches, Starburst and Shaman’s Dream. Slots are accessible via new, most popular, progressives and seasonal tabs. These are joined by Live Casino and Scratch Cards.

In legend, Robin Hood stole from the rich and gave to the poor. In bingo legend he runs a Prize Wheel promotion! We love the idea of the Prize Wheel rewards at Robin Hood (and other United Bingo brands) but in order to get a spin you need to wager £150 (more for VIP players). In fairness you can win bonuses, coins and spins although these aren’t well outlined. In other words we can’t give you more details unless we first wager £150! We suspect that the rewards aren’t particularly good. In short you wager £150 and receive a small reward back – that’s not quite how Robin Hood worked!

Our Verdict

That niggle aside, Robin Hood is a decent brand on the Dragonfish powered platform. It is a clone of Moon and pretty much emulates it’s sister site in every way. However it’s rare for exclusives these days so with that in mind we’re happy to join Robin’s tribe of Merry Men – if they could improve the Prize Wheel rewards offer then that’d be a massive thumbs up.
