2014 was the year when the people behind Costa Bingo have decided that they want a bigger slice of the action. Signing up Mel B was possibly a risky and expensive way of doing things, but slightly less risky and a lot cheaper is simply to churn out multiple new brands to build up their own mini-network.

Treasure Bingo

Joining Rio, Wish and Angry on the conveyor belt of new sites using the Dragonfish platform is the pirate themed Treasure Bingo. If you think that this site is going to offer anything different to it’s sisters though then you’re in for a bit of a disappointment. Treasure is merely a very well designed site masking the same games, free bingo and jackpots that you’ll find elsewhere. Now that’s not a bad thing as it’s pretty standard across the whole bingo industry but from a reviewers’ point of view it’s hard to keep writing the same thing. We want to be able to tell you about exciting reasons to play at Treasure over another brand.

No Deposit Treasure Bingo

New players are welcomed to Treasure Bingo with access to a no deposit bingo room. You can join this site even if you’ve joined the others on the network so that’s a plus point. Should you wish to deposit then Treasure will give you a 300% on your first £5 or £20 deposit. There are further bonuses for second and third deposits too. Wagering terms do apply and these are x4, although do be aware that this may include the bonus + deposit. Terms will be higher for any slots bonuses.

Inside Treasure Bingo you’ll find 90 ball, 75 ball and 75 ball Swedish Bingo rooms. These all offer a nice selection of games and jackpots. Each of the rooms have a progressive jackpot running plus there are daily guarantees including £2500 Cash Attack and £1000 Great Fortune. On some days the guaranteed jackpot prizes are for Diamonds – a reward point which can be used to get bonuses or bingo tickets at a later date.

Free £13K Weekly Game

For those of you who like something for nothing there are free rooms at Treasure Bingo for non-funded and funded players with extra chances to win when you deposit. Note that these rooms are all networked with the other brands. There’s also the £13,000 freebie game that takes place every Friday for depositors only. Again this game is a network based offering. Another free for depositors game plays every Sunday and it’s called The £5k Big Bang. Make sure you get your tickets for these games if you qualify. Access can be made via mobile, tablet and desktop.

If you like slots then there are plenty to get your teeth into at Treasure including the progressive jackpot game Millionaire Genie. Piggy Payout, Fluffy Favourites and Shaman’s Dream are also amongst the popular titles. Although slots do form a large part of most bingo brands, Treasure doesn’t go OTT plugging them so that’s something to consider if you’re not a fan.

Penny Prize Games

When Treasure was launched it didn’t appeal to us because it lacked it’s own promos. However, it’s improved in this department and The Captain regularly runs a prize game called Naughty Pirates (every Wednesday at 10pm with tickets costing just 1p/2p). In addition you’ll find other prize games but these vary every few weeks.

Out of the many brands that were launched by Mandalay Media back in 2014/15, Treasure is one of our favourites. We love the theme, think there’s a good mix of slots and bingo and there are more than enough regular promos. It some senses it’s almost aligned with Costa Bingo and we’d love to see exclusives etc but in these current times it’s more a case of enjoy what you have. The free bingo and no deposit bonus are good incentives to join The Captain’s crew.
