Viking Bingo was one of the first brands to appear on the new Wheel Of Slots Network. The site has a Viking theme – which may come as a surprise – and it includes a long boat which hosts the main site’s offers on it’s sales. The Wheel Of Slots network relies on a new way to reward depositors. Instead of the traditional percentage welcome bonus, new players can win up to 500 spins on the likes of Fluffy Favourites, Shaman’s Dream and Temple of Isis.
Viking however works a little bit differently than it’s sister sites – at least on first deposit. New players who deposit a minimum of £10 automatically receive 50 spins on Fluffy Favourites and don’t get a spin of the bonus wheel. The bonus wheel only comes into play on subsequent deposits of £10 or more. Wagering terms do apply to any wins gleamed from the spins.
The site doesn’t offer a no deposit bonus or even a bingo bonus which is a bit frustrating. In fact bingo seems to be the last thing on Vikings and indeed the Wheel Of Slots’ mind these days. Yes, there’s 75 ball and 90 ball games to play plus daily free bingo for depositors, but these rooms are rarely busy. Numerous times we’ve dropped in to take a look and have been disappointed to find no players in the rooms. Despite this there are regular jackpot games including Daily £10 Jackpots, All Or Nothing every Saturday, £250 Balance Booster (15th of every month) and the £500 Fortune Fountain. The latter only plays every 3 months though. In our view the bingo product needs a serious overhaul.
Fortunately slots players are better catered for at Viking. There’s a good range of games to choose from including Temple Of Ausar, Froots, Art Of The Heist, Aloha Cluster Pays, Rebets Splendour and X-O Manowar. In total there’s over 100 games to choose from – which when compared to other bingo brands or indeed Jumpman’s own Slots Network – isn’t that many. On the plus side, Viking do host a network promotion each month which is based on slots and there’s usually £2000 or so in prize money up for grabs.
Players can access Viking Bingo on mobile, tablet and desktop. No app is required! Deposits are easy to do but note you’re limited to using just credit and debit cards. There’s no options for Neteller, Paysafecard or Paypal. The minimum deposit is £5 and the maximum withdrawal is £30.
We do want to like Viking Bingo but there are just far too many issues. The quiet bingo rooms, the restricted depositing options and the limited number of slots don’t make it that user friendly. Now that the 15 Network also uses a Mega Reel bonus, the networks own USP has also been negated whilst the Jumpman Slots Network offers a better alternative for slot players. Viking Bingo players may well find something they like about this site – but we think big improvements need to be made.
